1 lb Ground Meat (Chicken, Beef your pick - I used Beef)
2 medium sized onions
1 tomato
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger
1/2 tsp finely chopped jalepeno peppers (optional)
Salt to taste
Red pepper to taste
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Cilantro (for garnish - optional)
1 Cauliflower Head chopped into small pieces
3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1/2 cup Water
Instructions:
In a large pot, sautee the onions until slightly golden brown. Add the garlic and ginger and sautee for a 1-2 minutes, then add ground meat. Stir the meat for 5 minutes and add Worcestershire Sauce. Then add all dry spices. Sautee the meat along with the spices for 10-15 minutes (depending on meat, chicken does not need as much time). Once meat and spices have mixed well, add the cut up cauliflower pieces and mix together well for 5-7 minutes. You want to make sure you mix the veggies in and stir well, ensuring they are evenly coated with the spices as well.
Add water and let simmer on very low heat for 20 minutes, just until the cauliflower is tender.
Garnish with Cilantro.
Serve with Chapati or Basmati Rice.
